MIRTEC CYPRUS is a specialized inspection and certification company, established as a joint venture between MIRTEC S.A. – the Hellenic Organization for Certification, Inspection and Laboratory Testing – and the Cyprus-based Industrial Marine Services LTD, a company with long-standing experience in technical inspections.

As a trusted partner in compliance and sustainability, MIRTEC CYPRUS focuses on technical inspections, product conformity assessments in line with European regulations and applicable national legislation, as well as carbon footprint analysis and broader environmental evaluations.

We are proud to be a strategic partner of Amazon, supporting product compliance assessments for items sold on its global platform. Furthermore, we are cooperating with the leader of the Saudi TESTING INSPECTION and CERTIFICATION market, GCC TECHNICAL SERVICES, in the fields of measurement and reduction of the carbon footprint of industrial facilities, services, and infrastructure projects.

MIRTEC CYPRUS has also entered into a strategic partnership with Halal Development Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to develop and implement a comprehensive national Halal strategy for Greece, focusing on establishing a Halal ecosystem across key sectors.

The primary objective of this initiative is to promote Greek exports into Muslim markets by creating a robust Halal infrastructure. The strategic framework will encompass the development of Halal standards and certification processes tailored to the agricultural, food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, television and film content, and modest women’s fashion sectors. These efforts are designed to facilitate Greek companies’ compliance with international Halal standards, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and market access.

Following the delivery of the national Halal strategy, a specialized Greek company will be engaged to undertake the necessary certification and compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to Halal standards and connecting Greek products and services with the Saudi Arabian and broader Middle Eastern markets.

This collaboration represents a significant step towards strengthening Greece’s position in the global Halal economy, fostering bilateral trade, and supporting Greek exporters in expanding into new and lucrative markets.
